SHURE PGX24/SM58 - Handheld UHF Vocal radio mic system with SM58 microphone capsule. Includes PGX2/SM58 Handheld Transmitter and PGX4 Diversity Receiver. Legendary live performance featuring superior clarity and warmth. Ideal for lead and backup vocals.
Model name: PGX24UK/SM58
PGX Wireless System with SM58 Microphone.
The Shure PGX Series wireless microphone systems combine the convenience of single touch remote channel setup with the reliability of a diversity UHF design. Created for active musicians and presenters who also manage their own sound, Shure PGX Wireless improves your performance and simplifies your setup. Innovations such as automatic frequency selection and automatic transmitter setup make wireless quicker and completely worry-free. Channel and frequency settings are remotely synchronized from the transmitter to the receiver via infrared. PGX systems now feature Shures patented Audio Reference Companding, delivering the crystal clear sound quality that pro audio engineers trust.
The PGX24/SM58 Handheld System is ideal for vocal use in stage performances, presentations, television, broadcasting, video, film, and sound reinforcement. This system includes the PGX4 receiver, PGX2 handheld transmitter with SM58 microphone capsule, clip and case.
The PGX4 receiver operates over an 18MHz UHF bandwidth (846 - 865 MHz) with the flexibility of selecting up to 90 UHF frequencies. It is possible to run 9 of these systems simultaneously with their own channel selections. The diversity design enables dual internal receiver circuits to compete for the strongest possible reception, minimising noise and RF interference. The rear panel has both XLR and 1/4 inch phone outputs.
The PGX2 handheld transmitter includes the SM58 cardioid microphone head. The cardioid polar pattern reduces pick up at the off-axis sections of the capsule, reducing noise and providing higher gain-before-feedback response. A 2-position input level switch adjusts input level and reduces noise if the signal overloads. The transmitter operates up to 8 hours on 2 AA-size batteries.
PGX24/SM58 Features:
SM58 frequency response tailored for vocals, with brightened midrange and bass roll-off
The Frequency Agile UHF design provides up to 90 selectable UHF frequencies that operate on an 18MHz UHF bandwidth
Diversity Reception system uses twin receiver circuits to minimise noise and drop out caused by RF interference
Hi-quality sound with quick and easy setup using infrared remote synchronization of channel and frequency status
Use 9 systems simultaneousy within the 846 - 865 Mhz range for big events
PGX4 has XLR and unbalanced 1/4 inch jack audio outputs
PGX2 includes mute switch and battery power warning lights - 8 hours battery life from 2 x AA 1.5v alkaline batteries
Rugged carry case and batteries and mic clip included with this microphone
